Established in 1962, San Jose Roadsters has a rich history of hot rodding in Northern California. As one of the four original roadster clubs in California we have ancestral ties to the other historic roadster clubs, namely Los Angeles Roadsters, Bay Area Roadsters, and Valley Roadsters. These four clubs have met annually over the past 57 years at Roadster Roundup and other hot rod events, such as the LA Roadster Show. Many of the attendees are still driving the cars they had at the very beginning. As a San Jose Roadster member you get the opportunity to meet and become friends with some of the biggest names in California hot rodding history.

In addition, San Jose Roadsters puts together club rod runs and joint runs with other clubs throughout the year which gives you a chance to drive your car on short and sometimes longer, overnight excursions. We also meet as a club on a monthly basis to plan activities and report on past activities. As a club member you are encourged to wear club apparel such as jackets, t-shirts and hats, especially when you attend events such as Good Guys. You also have the opportunity to participate in another honored hot rod tradition: displaying the club plaque on your vehicle. This lets other automobile enthusiasts and members of other clubs know that you are one of a select few who honor traditions going back to the dawn of hot rodding.
